My work takes me far from my north-Atlantic island home to a base in the middle of the Pacific. From there I am rarely idle and I’m frequently travelling through the islands, the country and also out into the big wide world. Hawaii is the ideal stepping-stone to that continent we call Asia, and as much of that world is more accessible to us in Maui than the east coast of America we end up there fairly often. Travelling, teaching, planning, discipling, they all come out of relationship. First and foremost it’s our relationship with Jesus. If we get this bit wrong, we get everything else wrong. From here we are also called to be in relationship with other people. This could mean you (I mean, you’re reading this, right?). And what does this mean? Well, primarily it means that you and I connect. You can be in prayer for my various projects. You could come on board as a financial supporter. Or you could be a good friend who I meet up for coffee with whenever I’m in town (these are not mutually exclusive options). The short of it is that this area is vitally important to my work. Without the prayer, without the finances, without the spiritual input that we can offer one another, I will not be as effective. Does this sound interesting? If you would like to know more or have already decided that yes, you would like to be a partner, then the next step is pretty simple. Just drop me a line and I’ll firstly give you a username/password to the website. This allows you to see much more of what I get up to and what’s coming next. After that I’ll try to get some contact details for you and see what the best way to stay in touch is. I hope you’ll think about this, and I look forward to hearing from you! |
